Anna Wren, NP, creates a safe atmosphere to help patients who struggle with mental health concerns. She works with children and adults, treating each patient with the dignity and respect they deserve. Treatments may include medication management and other therapies to help patients regain stability so they can better enjoy school and life.
Wren earned her associate, bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from Northwestern State University College of Louisiana. She is a board certified psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner (American Nurses Credentialing Center) who specializes in the treatment of mental health conditions across the lifespan.
From a young age, Wren saw hospitals as places of safety and healing. As a nurse, she finds purpose in creating that same sense of security for her patients. Her passion for mental health stems from personal experiences and a deep desire to be a light for those who may be struggling. She values the opportunity to connect with individuals from all walks of life and make a lasting impact on their well-being.
Outside of work, Wren enjoys reading, flower arranging, and spending time with her family and her dog. She is a proud middle child with family ties in Shreveport where she was born and raised.
Wren is grateful for the opportunity to serve Northwest Louisiana. She looks forward to providing compassionate care and making a difference in the lives of her patients and their families.
